youtube's hit counter myth

from what i have known, once somebody view your video on youtube, you'll gain a hit count... if 20 people viewed your video, you gained 20 hits. but when you refresh the browser on the same video, you would not receive an extra hit.

so are the thumbs up (like) function. if you like a video click once, you'll have 1 thumb up.

now this video from peter chao is kinda funny...

he actually got himself over 3500 'likes' and 280 'dislikes' by the time i was watching it, while it only had 300 over views....

how this video actually got more thumb ups than it is viewed? besides, i thought we could only thumb up once per youtube account? so it can't be a single viewer clicked thumbs up many times...

any idea?

FL studio 9 on ipad

i'm quite surprise to find FL studio actually made itself to apple computers...

and no.. it's not on a mac pro, or mac machines, it's on ipads!!!

from the vid, i think it would be great to use it as a replacement 4x4 pad... if you don't have one...

surf around the web during lunch time and found this...

a step by step tutorial teaching you how to make your own DEADMAU5 helmet!!! this is amazing..

all u need is:
- 13" hamster ball
- A yard of red felt
- Hardhat
- White silk (make sure you can see through it)
- 6 sheets of stick on red felt
- 2 12" 3mm BIRCH BALTIC wood plates (NOT BALSA)
- Hard styrofoam ball
- Steel mesh
- Dremel rotary tool with cutting wheel
- Safety glasses
- Hot Glue Gun with sticks
- Spray on Tacky glue
- Regular Tacky glue
- Duct Tape
- Masking Tape
- Sandpaper
- Cutting Board
- Hobby knife
- fabric scissors
- Philips screwdriver
- Paper
- Dark colored sharpie
- Compass




with a lot of time (i guess) you could make yourself your very own deadmau5 helmet.
the tutorial there looks fine, just like the one deadmau5 is wearing on stage .. haha..

long time ago we used calculator, and we realise we can't do much about it but to sum up some numbers only,

so we got computers, ........ for complex calculations

then, businessmen complain carrying computer from place to place to discuss business is very troublesome, it's too big bulky.
so we got laptops, ........ for easy travelling business purposes and college kids to show off in the library

then we got some girls crying over how heavy a laptop is and they can't carry it to shopping malls, so that they could go to starbucks and login to thier facebook playing farmville while shopping,

so we got netbooks, ........ for light weight, easy to carry computers and no more girls broke their arms carrying heavy laptops ever since.

then we got some lots of boys, and some girls with fat fingers complaining over the small keyboard on the netbooks.
