been having some issues of getting the agreement signed on the publish of this track on the compilation CD due to some technical issues. but thankfully its all been settled. :)

design a deadmau5 helmet competition

talenthouse.com is organizing a deadmau5 helmet competition...

there are 2 templates given, template A would be a front plain mau5head.. while template B would be in 3D. it depends on your creativity to draw/paint the mau5head using ur creativity using photoshop. i'm not sure if you could draw by hand and scan it into pc. after that, send the Jpeg file to them via talenthouse.com. so graphic designers out there can give this competition a try.. :D

you may download the templates here(PDF A), here (PSD A), here (PDF B)and here(PSD B zip file)

here are some of the mau5head some creative ppl out there created, i hope you guys find inspiration from these ppl...

the normal mau5head

the typical 'bling bling' mau5head

the light weight carbon fiber sporty mau5head

and if u love recycling so much, u may design a 'recycle mau5head'

and here is the official link to the competition:http://www.talenthouse.com/deadmau5-design-the-next-mau5head

good luck!

FL studio 9 on ipad

i'm quite surprise to find FL studio actually made itself to apple computers...

and no.. it's not on a mac pro, or mac machines, it's on ipads!!!

catch the video below!

some how it seems to lag on its video graphic, but, there seems to be no clipping sounds, which is kinda funny...

from the vid, i think it would be great to use it as a replacement 4x4 pad... if you don't have one...

someone even used it as midi controller...

now seems like i got myself a reason to own an ipad... haha...

happy birthday john lennon

todays' john lennon's 70th birthday...

got this information from google's doodle...

i have been listening to the beatles when i was a kid, that's when i got to know john lennon was one of the four guys in the beatles.

i had a youtube search jst to have a listen to some of his songs i used to listen when i was a kid.

from the list of john lennon's search on youtube...

i got liam from oasis.... so .. what is this gonna do with john lennon???

i guess a lot of people thought liam from oasis is john lennon tho...

a new instrument: airpiano

this is some kinda cool instrument in music scene. this instrument is called 'airpiano', where users played the instruments without phisically touching it...

this instruments contains 8 arrays of sensors detecting hand movements above it. the sensor allows user to use it as fader or filter as well. which is similar to a midi controller but the input is by using your hand movement above the instrument.

jo hamilton, the first musician whom got her hands on this prototype. here's a video of her using it...

the song is simply beautiful.

this video demonstrates how it is used to play as an instrument.

this instrument seems to be able to sync with ableton live, watch video below.

i wonder if it works on FL studio too.. hmm...

A Birthday Song on youtube!

A Birthday Song on youtube!

I've got this song done using FL6. A complete birthday song only last about 30-40 seconds, so in order to get it into a full length track, i need to add in some of my own verse into it.

i'm quite satisfy with my composition of this track, but some how i still never satisfy about the production level of this track.

p/s: you guys may click on this link to share it with your friends on facebook!

Sparkling Flakes on youtube

something is wrong with the internet connection lately, i've been trying to upload this vid to youtube like for 5 times, it kept disconnected.

frustrated!

but after several attempt, here it is... :D

watch/hear this vid in high quality for better sound quality!

Our Fate (rework 2009) on youtube

just uploaded Our Fate (rework 2009) on youtube. spent hours tryin to figure out why the out come of the sound quality was bad. in the end i realise that i have to click on the 'HQ' for high quality video, which means better sound quality..

defaultly youtube will load a lower quality video for faster download. where some people whom with lower bandwidth or slower internet connection might find it useful.

took me a while to get use to windows movie maker, since i got my windows movie maker tamplete done, i will upload more of my stuffs to youtube pretty soon. :)
